Need advice on problems with directory designer?

this is ridiculous..not sure if the OP is dealing with the same person i am..i thought he was a great person to deal with..im hoping for the best but my time is getting short..i just want my money back at this point

Who is that guy? I need his ID. I got a lot request about refer a designer, I will remove him from my list

 

and it is the same person..i dont like calling out ppl for sure,as i try to hold out hope im not getting scammed

 

I don't know who it is and it sounds like the proof of multiple bad business deals is certain.

 

Have you ever actually done a dispute with that option? They will take the dispute... I have had to do it 3 times... every time I got the same response.. PayPal could not resolve the dispute because it is an intangible item. And no refund. If you have different method that works I would love to know it! I even had one guy basically admit I didn't recieve anything in the PayPal notes and offer a settlement at a lower price, which I said no to. And PayPal still ruled the dispute for him...

knowing me yes i have done it various times and won it all. I even won a dispute for 1$ value hosting << lol who would want 1$ dispute lol.

This guy charged and cut down the hostin in the middle. I got my money back because i esclalated to paypal straight.

Well, I filled a PayPal dispute so I will wait and see how that turns out.

I just don't have time to mess around with someone that wants your money and which I paid in good faith yet fails to deliver on their end. I think waiting 15 days for what I was told would be a five hour job that would be finished the next day is being more than patient and fair.

I gave also gave $250.00 down on a $500.00 project and it has been over two months. I have sent a few emails and same thing, was told to check back in a couple of weeks. It isn't that uncommon for some designers to behind a bit, so I didn't worry so much until I was shown this thread.
I am pretty sure we are talking about the same person here, but it was on the phpLD forum where this took place.

 

It has been confirmed that LakeCountry is dealing with the same individual as the OP, and I believe many others here are also dealing with this individual. It's over for him in this business.

Funny how a designer was asking how much people were willing to pay for a custom design. Leaves you wondering, eh?

Creed when people ask that they only have one intention and i hope you know what that is.

 

I thought I am the only have who have bad experience with him. Lost $500 last year on wordpress and vbulletin themes that I can't even use. But since like he is a reputable member I just keep quiet and partly my mistake too by sending him full payment even before the work done.

Quite surprise though because he is one of the top 5 directory designer here.

 

I have a feeling I know who this person is Good thing I have never dealt with him in the past.
