I need some help/advice to get my site SEO friendly. Can someone point me int he correct direction so that I can optimize my site for SEO. I have tried to create unique and accurate titles for my pages and have fixed my meta tag descriptions so that there is only one per page. I have not tried to integrate keywords into my body text, but i know that i need to. I have used the google keywords tool, but i am unsure if i should choose descriptive words or let it look at my site and choose keywords from their. I know that I am probably confusing, but i am just looking for some advice.

    My Site

    Thanks

    Arrrghhh SEO disaster.

I think you need to start with the basics. There are no alt tags on your images, no titles in your links, no description or keywords in your meta tags. I think you need a crash course in SEO:

Try this ebook, i've used it before and it could come in handy.

If you need anything else, give me a shout =] Good luck!

You need a Keyword meta tag! A blog would be a good idea too. Get some backlinks by posting in other tech forums with a link signature, and ask computer related sites for links too. Maybe a little eye-candy like a pic or two on each page.

You definitely need your keyword meta tag. Although Google doesn't weigh it in very much, if at all, it's still important! You also need more content. The site could also do well with a re-design which is not SEO related, but would help with getting users to stay on your site. The RSS button is in a bad location and since it's not syndicated content, kind of pointless.

    Keywords tag, content, content, content.

You started on the right track. Keep up the good work. For the start bring in some text on those main categories, not only links. You need text and keywords to rank for them...

On a company site if you put google ads then it will most likely be used by your competitors.

Create a sitemap page and show all links there
