    Hey DPers,

I run a few different fashion related sites/blogs and between them get 1000-2000 uvs/day,

Anyway, I have not been collecting emails at all :(. I am thinking of getting setup with aweber. I would then follow up with general emails/articles about fashion etc.

Any advice on what cpa offers, sales info, books etc you would promote I would really appreciate it.

How often should I send out offers? Bi-monthly?

    Any useful guides on this?

    Best,

Monthly or Bi-Monthly is more than enough in my opinion. I hate spam and there's nothing quicker I"ll get rid of than a newsletter that is bombarding me with emails everyday.

I'm not real familiar with newsletter/email marketing so i'm probably not the best to answer here. How are your users interacting with you? Are they ever inputting emails? Those emails should be stored somewhere at the moment. I know Wordpress does store emails, you will just need to extract those from comments and things if you choose to use them. That might upset them though since many did not sign up for a newsletter (and perhaps illegal).

Quick tip, make it visible and easy for users to disable their subscription to your newsletter.

Thanks gator, good advice. I'm not getting a ton of incoming emails, mainly because I haven't posted a contact me anywhere super visible.

you should definitely have a signup on your site. there are many free services to help you start: http://www.bigresponse.com . As long as your emails offer value, then it is ok to send out more frequently. Be sure to keep a keen eye on the metrics and test, test, test!
