Need advice on keywords for a site

    I currently have a site about a person who had some bad press back in 2003. If you google her name blogs come up that blast her with hateful articles. My question to you guys is:

    What would be the best course of action (regarding keywords) for getting my page displayed over the hateful blogs without posting to any blogs.

    Since these sites are old, will it be harder to rank above all the others?

    I just want my page to be at the top of the list when you google her name.

    Also how do you know when you used the keywords too frequently.

    What your talking about comes under the description 'reputation management' - it'd be worth looking it up on sites like sphinn.com to find articles about the best (and worst) way to go about it.

    You could submit to web directories with your desired anchor text to try and position your site gradually above those other listings.
