I'm doing web design and hosting support business for the past 9 years. I am concentrating on local clients, I used to have lots of customers wants their mails pointed to google apps which is an absolutely a free service for standard edition. My doubt is I am charging $50(one time) to those clients for this service. What I am doing for this charge is:

    1) Pointing the customer's domain name MX record to Google apps server.

    2) Visiting the customer place and do cofigure with outlook express in each and every computer they want.

    3) Providing support if there is any issue in accessing their mails.

Charging for this free google apps service is legal?

    Please advice.

Yes buddy it is 101% legal...
I know the days when Google Apps was started and google itself had
a page with links to various programmers/coders and services providers just like you,
who provide their services to the clients to help them setup their google apps account...

My dear you are provding much more than simple google apps setup..
i say it is 100% legal...and also i suggest you go for more that $50 as
you are provding the best personalized services at their doorstep...

    Wish you GOOD Luck,

OK i found the link for the page where google itself is listing the providers who
are charging fee for the services like you...

    google.com/enterprise/marketplace/ (cannot post live link..so plz copy/paste)

Look for the links under : Top Rated (middle column at the lower portion of the page)
(You see it is 100% legal, and even officialy supported by Google,

as with the help of guys like you, google company grows...)
Again i suggest as per your service go for at least $145 :)
then may give 15% discount to one who insist lowered price...

    Wish you best,
