Need Advice On First CB Landing Page As A Publisher

I've been a Clickbank affiliate for over 3 years but I've just got my first product submitted & approved on Clickbank.

This is not a white label rehashed product (not that there's anything wrong with that) - but something created entirely from scratch that I very much believe in (from experience.) Now of course is the hard part - selling it. I'm already realizing it's probably going to be much harder than I had envisioned.

Anyway I'm hoping to get some good advice here on what I'm doing wrong (and hopefully some encouragement & direction on what I'm doing right... if I am doing anything right that is.)

Right now I'm really trying to perfect the landing page and get the conversion rate high, but I do want to supply a ton of affiliate resources in the long term (we've already got a lot of banners created) - when I get to that stage - I'll be back here to announce the launch of my affiliate program. I cannot recommend any affiliates to promote this yet. I'd rather you wait until I get the conversions up!

So anyway - Here's the landing page. Fire away!

    ---

On the side I'm also curious about anyones suggestions as far as advertising other than PPC. Banner ads and that sort of thing? Traffic based ads, not link based. I'm trying some things out now (facebook, adbrite, socialspark, buyadvertise.net) but not too much success as of yet.

I just want to say that your landing page looks very good. I've been doing well as an affiliate but as a publisher never did as well as simply SEOing my ebook sites and selling through paypal. Its all about recruiting good affiliates (especially those with a good adwords budget) which I never really managed to do.

Thanks wowhaxor. I'm trying to take your advice about recruiting affiliates (see my signature link! $31 commissions)

I've changed around the landing page quite a bit, lowered the price (and raised the commission % to make up for that), and I've started to add some affiliate tools (including a new page full of banners.) I'd love some feedback on what I'm doing.

I still feel the landing page needs a lot of work - that's definitely a high priority. This is my first LP like this so ... it's a learning process for sure.

Looks good. The only think I don't like is the glow effect around your title "The Day Off Diet". Otherwise, nice page!

I like the design, especially the header. The idea is very good, and it looks like it will sell if marketed well. The food pictures will probably encourage people to buy. The other picutres, such as the special limited offer (the one that sums the values of the eBooks and says "only $57.67") are very good too.

One thing I would change is the font. To me, it looks old and outdated. I'm not an expert in font names, but I think the font used at this forum should be good.

    Good luck,

navdavs - thanks for the encouragement and the font tip. I've been struggling with the font choice - I know what you mean about it looking outdated. I may try something else and see if it helps conversions.
