Need advice on changing CMS to normal PHP/HTML

Hi there

My site has been hacked so I was told by Google. I have using this CMS for SEO urls and been thinking of changing my site back to normal PHP/HTML extension since I know how to use CSS, PHP, HTML, etc.

Can anyone advise me a great strategy for development e.g. PHP template is best to go with, etc? What's the latest savvy everyone is using now apart from 3rd party apps?

Well most people now stick to using 3rd Party softwares like Wordpress it gives a good platform but if you can code and have perfect skills with time you can go ahead using some PHP Template Engine maybe smarty
