I seriously need advice on buying backlinks. My site is PR0, yes, 0. I didn't know it, nor did I expect it, until I checked myself. It was even harder to believe that my second site, which according to my stats from Weblizer and even google analytics, receives less traffic than my main site, was PR2, while this one (the site I am referring to is 0). In any case, I need to know if I will get penalized by google if I buy backlinks. And/or if my adsense account might get banned. By buying, I mean, paying someone to actually get me backlinks. There are many people doing this online (selling this service), but I don't know if it's a safe method. Please advice asap. thanks
Pretty much what I am asking is this: "is buying backlinks, more specifically, is paying people to get me backlinks considered a black hat method?"
From what ive heard.. no links can harm your site.. maybe .edu and .gov by sites that sell such links, but buying from private people like here is pretty much safe Id say. Make some searches on the site you want to buy links from, if their pages rank high for their keywords then that means the site is quality and you should buy links from them. You wont find any sites ranking #1 for good keywords that want to sell links.. so my tip would be if site is amongst the best 20 for a keyword go for it, also check site:www.domain.com on google to see if site is indexed and has many pages something that is a plus. Also remember to change the anchor text a bit here and there as it seems more natural for google.
First thing is don't worry about PR, get the backlinks for SERPs and revenue. Everyone thinks PR is the only thing important. Think about your own results. Your main site receives more traffic than your PR site does. PR has little to do with direct traffic/revenue. A PR4 site doesn't mean you'll make more money or traffic than a PR1 site, there's no relation. No you won't get banned for buying links. Make sure to diversify them from different methods and ips. ie bookmarks, article submissions, web 2.0, etc. You don't want all your links from one site or from one method like bookmarks. That looks unnatural to G.
No! If this was the case then I'd buy all my competitors sites backlinks to get them penalized. If your not buying backlinks then your probably not ranking well in the Search Engines and not making any money.
I have the same issue, i buy for my main niche and now it's in the toilet with PR0 and a site i rarely touch is PR2. This new panda crap is really irritating.
Ya - better be careful about who you pay to get you links. If you try to build links too fast, it's going to appear unnatural. To start building up backlinks, you could add a blog to your site, and update it with new articles now any then. Also, trade some blog roll links to other bloggers that you think are good. Guest posting on other sites is another good technique for building up ranking. Just make sure that the sites you trade with or guest post on are well indexed in Google, and that links that they have on their site pass 'juice' - which means - that you can see evidence that those sites they link to do rank for the keywords in the links. Also - in this day in age with Google Panda, try to build up the brand of your site. It's not always smart to use keyword anchor text for every link. Rather, use your brand name in as many links as possible while you're starting.
If Google finds you, they will punish you When you buy thing don't post openly on big forums that I want link for xxx.com Use Private Message feature. Be safe
Very interesting thanks. I was getting almost 1000+ visitors (unique) per day from Google, and my site was doing really good in terms of revenue. But then something happened, and it went down to less than 100. I don't know what happened, but maybe Google penalized my site for something. I think it was "keyword stuffing", which I was actually unaware of until recently. If anyone can, can u please look at my site & tell me if it's this is the case. (please see the signature if u want to take a look at the site). Thanks again everyone for your advice.
LOL. but I see ur point. I was actually getting good $$ from adsense, but then my unique visits from search engines (well from google) went from over 1000 to less than 100 in a day. don't know what I did. i mean did somethings, and now I am trying to back step, and see if I can get that traffic back. Thanks
In reality, anyone who thinks they can still do things "the natural way" and not invest in some quality links is probably kidding themselves. Huge companies are investing hundreds of thousands on a monthly basis on paid links. Providing you do things discreetly and make sure the links are of a good quality, you won't run into any issues.
