Guys, I need some guidelines for article submission that can increase my serps. This is what I planned to do. 1) Write keyword rich article in my niche. 2) Submit the same article with varied anchor text to 40 article submission websites like ezinearticles, article base, goarticles etc., My doubt - If i submit the same article to 40 website will it not be considered as spam. I hope this act will increase my serps as i am using varied anchor text. Please guide me through. Sam
No it will not be spam. Duplicate content and having your article appear on numerous sites are two different things. Article submission is different… this kind of exposure is good. When your article appears on a wide number of different sites, this looks good for your site, creates traffic and quality backlinks.
Thanks. But it would be great if some other people share their thought. One more question. There is some thing called article spanning. Wherein we modify the article and then submit it to multiple website. Is this fine or just we can submit the original article in multiple website.
I think submitting to 40 sites is overkill. I hear its better to submit one unique article to 5-10 sites max.
Select 3-5 best article directories and submit the articles to them.. Point is getting few good links works more good than tons of low quality links!

No, most definetly will not be spam. Submit your article to as many article sites as possible. It's good for your site. But what you really want is high quality links with PR.
So haven't a ton of the same articles out there won't be taken as spam? I thought article marketing was more about having a lot of good articles at a few good directories than having the same few articles at a few directories?
I think it depends on how you submit the article, google has strict rule so be aware with your submission, once you're marked it'd be more difficult
No you're fine trust me. Submit your article to the 400 article directories out there and you will have more backlinks and the article sites will appreciate you sharing your article with them.
Well see you build more backlinks when you submit your quality article to most of the good article sites out there, that's the whole point. You will gain more backlinks and the article sites will appreciate you sharing your article with them. Trust me there is no problem. A bad thing would posting hundreds and hundreds of comments on high PR blogs with your link and anchor text, that would could cause you a penalty, not this.
You Should Write one main article and then re-write spun articles of same main article. Submit them to top 100 Ezine Websites, and you will see results for sure!
I don't get the idea of submitting same article to multiple article directories. Have you done your research on this? Let's say, you submit one article to 10 directories. When you search the title of your article on search engine, how many results will be shown for your article? I guess, it will be only one. This tells clearly that duplicate contents will be removed from SERP and will not deliver any good backlink value to you. Search engine bots will index site that provide contents first. The following directory that provides same article will be ignored. You are just wasting your time submitting same article to even 2 article directories. I suggest you to at least re-write or use some spinning software to get unique article before submitting.
I heard that it is worth to add one article to more than just one site but two or three worth adding. atniz, your point is good, but what about articles that are republished on other websites naturally - those links wouldn't have any value?
No, it's not spam by any means, you can submit one article to multiply article website. It's your own and unique no copied article so it;s not spam
