I have domain name that I haven't done anything with. It's just sitting there. Originally, I was going to build a website get it up in the serps and sell the products. I also have a dropship/manufacturer. Do you think it would be more worth my while to: A. build the website (I'm thinking about uisng OScommerce) and then sell it right away. B. Develope it and then sell it C. Develope it and keep it I think the 3rd option would be my best method as far as $ is concerned, but with these kinds of businesses you need phone #s for people to call and I'm already answering the phone for another one of my websites. What do you guys think I should do? The domain is classiquehomeaccents.com the dropshipper makes address plaques and other products that are molded out of metals.
The difference between B and C is B I never put my phone # up. When I begin to get sells via online shopping cart I sell the site. C I build the site with the intentions of never selling it and figure out how to keep up with the phone calls. My biggest issue with product sites is managing the phone calls. I currently have 2 product sites. This site would be my 3rd. 1 site I currently own makes money and 85% of sales come from over the phone via the number that is on my website. The other site is still in the sandbox, but I have had no sales from that site. I don't have my phone number up on 2nd product site. I guess I could do option C if I could figure out how to manage the phone calls.
