We have a conversation forum with a couple of thousand members and a further list of about 2000 email addresses we want to send our newsletter to several times a year. Our server only seems to allow 500 emails max to be sent from our account using the forum software. What I need is one of these places that can bulk mail content I supply for me to my own list, remove any duplicate or undeliverable emails from the list, remove people who wish to opt out etc. Can anyone recommend a reputable outfit to do this? Naturally, I want my email list to be secure and not spammed by others and I don't want to spend much to achieve this. Maybe there is software that does it? Or some kind of server application I can use? (We have loads of apps on the server that I don't know what half of them do). Really, I need the ABC of bulk emailing! aweber and like charge you on monthly basis.. with 2000 emails it will cost you quite a bit.. and they have to be integrated with your forum software, meaning you have to do some programming work contact forum software vendor and have the number adjusted .. it is a simple script change, it would be easier to get new software working with your forum.. or programming by yourself..
