Hi, I need your advice so I can choose the best way to remove many old pages from my website.
Back in 2000 when I started the website, I didn't pay much atention to search engines, and some relevant webdesign technics. I was interested in content, and I achieved after some time a very good number of frequent users. I used frames  . Last year I started to use adsense and became more interested in SEO, although I was already in n1 position in google for some search terms in Portuguese Language.

So since 2 months ago, i'm build my website from the begging, making sure the new webpages are indexed, but changing the url for most of the content. I have the old and the new versions of the site online. I'm changing the content a little, and making sure I don't have errors on pages, etc. I'm using my previous year experience to place adsense on the better places, and i'm using a design adsense-friendly...

In 2 or 3 weeks, I will put the new design online, changing the index.php. I will still provide a link to some old pages while I'm updating them all, but I want to remove most of the old stuff from the server.

    And now my question...

I should I do with the old pages? because I have a lot of pages indexed, that will provide visits, but as they were frames, users maybe will not go to the new desing.

Should I edit those pages and place a link to the new website? should I delete those pages? redirect the users automatically?

Can I play with links between pages to get a higher rank with anchor keywords on those links?
Ithink some pages generate some errors from missing files and that could have some effect on page rank.

    thanks
