Need Advice: i want to go multilanguage but afraid to hit as spam by Google

    i want to go multi language my wordpress website, i want to use a plugin to translate the same English content in other languages
    on different sub domains like:
    ru.mysite.com
    ch.mysite.com
    it.mysite.com

    i have questions below:
    1- dose translate the same content affect SEO and hit as spam by Google ?
    2- what is the best wordpress plugin for it ?
    3- should i use a plugin for it or use any other ways ? [ i dont have experience to go multi language ]

    According to Google: "Use robots.txt to block search engines from crawling automatically translated pages on your site. Automated translations don’t always make sense and could be viewed as spam. More importantly, a poor or artificial-sounding translation can harm your site’s perception." . So, we should care about the translations on the site.

    Using sub-domain or sub-folder is great for implementing a multi-language site. "Google uses the content of the page to determine its language, but the URL itself provides human users with useful clues about the page’s content."

    You could try this wp plugin from Bing. It will allow your sites visitors to translate your sites content into their native language. As far as it dinging your ranking with Google I don't really see a problem there but you may want to research it a bit more for your own peace of mind.     You should not be afraid of Google spam for translating your website into multiple languages. At the same time you should also stay away from automatic translation as it will downgrade the content quality of your website. That in tern may devalue your website in the eye of Google.
