Need advice ??? I am thinking of buying a search engine script???

    Meta search engine scripts give a slower result do people don't use them often. Also there is a perfectly good free script out there go to http://chalipa.org/. You'd have to edit it to put ads on the side though and customise it a bit. You should target a specific group- like teenagers or elderly and have specific good links for them on your front page.

    If you're creating a proper search engine it'll be pretty costly so you'd have to have venture capital unless you're secretly bill gates or some other billionare/multi-millionare. :)

    Your search site will not only has to function properly, but you will need a huge visitor base until the ads on your site are actually worth something.

    your search engine will be useless, Google owns all and the other part are left for msn and bing ! Do you think you can do anything ? NO in fact all of us use google, google owns 90% of total search engines !

    bro, he is not trying to compete with google, i my self run couple of meta search sites and YES people do use them , all you need is some decent traffic and a good ad feed or just use adsense to start making some bucks,my personal monthly income is in x,xxx range just from the search sites.

    Search engines like filestube.com, which search for hosted files will work.But its not a good idea to create a general search engine like google.
