Need advice for a new site

    Hello,

I'm pretty much a newbie at this and was hoping someone might be able to help me out. I have a domain and a concept but have no idea where to start with getting a site designed and coded. I'd like to use developers on this site as opposed to using an actual web design company since this will save quite a bit of money. Is it best to work with someone to get a design (I have a few ideas in mind) and then get someone to code it or is it best to have someone who could do both. Any sugestions or advice on how to proceed is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you have knowledge about adobe photoshop or flash then you can do the designing part by your self and as you told that you dont have also any knowledge about coding part. then I have a suggestion for you that you must look for a web designing company. Web designing company can design as well as build a good website for you. And also you just need to give them data which is related to your business.

Consider posting something on a freelancer website, to get some quotes etc for this project, or consider asking for offers on here, but without a description, the complexity of your project is ambiguous, and so untill further details are offered, pricing up a project would be the same as asking how long is a piece of string. Would the site be dynamic? Would the coder/designer be required to continually work with you after creation, or would it be a creation so that you could continue on your own? These are the kind of question the creators will want to know. Take a look at freelance sites, but i'd recommend planning out on paper what you want everything to do, so you can portray a clear image to whoever is going to make it
