Hello, i found this site voydo.com for sale in online auction sites here http://flippa.com/auctions/87557/80...ium-NameWell-RankedFamous-Video-Niche-Busines and i think it's good because it's listed in dmoz, google dir and have alot of backlinks in SEs i want to know how much it worth so i can talk to the owner and try to deal with him/her can anyone give me an advice about the site and price thanks
Well it looks like the site is making about $800 a month from mostly organic traffic and such, no paid traffic supposedly. Usually a site like this will sell for about 10-12 months of profit, which would be between $8,000 and $9,600. This is getting 60,000 uniques a month which is a lot of traffic, you could probably monetize this site even better than it is already being done, so you could get a great deal here. This site might go for a little more than the 10-12 months profits just because it looks like it has potential, has a good domain name, has tons of traffic, etc. I would estimate the worth to be around $10,000 though.
When negotiating, tell him: 1. It is not that big of a deal if it is listed in DMOZ. And it isn't! If he says otherwise, have him explain to you why. If you think it is, explain to me why. 2. It also does not matter if it has a lot of backlinks, if the sites have a low, or no PR. 3. Is the site listed under the most typed-in keywords? 4. The look of the site needs work. I bet he has a high bounce rate (the visitors are out of there in less than 60 seconds). 5. Think about it...voydo means nothing, so if he says it is a unique, cool name, guess again. 6. All sites, when submitted to Google are listed in their directory. Big deal. With all this said and done, you may be better off getting your own site going, and hiring a cheap programmer, like a college student, to help you with it. $600 may be way too much. Call it, maybe, as an example...VincentVideos.com. It appears to be just a regular ol' site with just a few hundred visitors a day. Ya can't make much money from that. You better think long and hard on this, brother, or you will probably be out over $600.

also i don't wanna establish a business from the beginning i wanna take any ready business because i think i can take any website with good traffic to money easily
