Need advice about a wordpress theme or plugin

    I'm looking for a theme (or a plugin) that will enable a site to work similar to 9gag.
    Basically i need there to be a "submit" button on the homepage that will open a picture submission form (to add a picture or video).
    I guess every picture uploaded by users will be a post.

    Any ideas?

    don't know of an actual plug in to solve your problem but can only suggest you run a search of available plugins within Wordpress itself.

    Me Gusta looks pretty much like what i'm looking for.
    However, i really don't want to spend 50$ on it.
    Any freebies??

    You can't have a free theme with such function. Better find a 9Gag clone script.
