I don't agree with number 2 above. With adsense more is not always better. The best thing is to blend your ads so that people are likely to click on them. Sometimes having a lower number of ads will increase click through as well as serve up the best paying ads. Google ads are served from the highest paying to the the lowest paying so the first ad on your page has the highest payout and usually the most clicks. Every site is different and a little testing can go a long way in determining what works best for your particular site.

Simple and efficient. images near ads is another good tip for having adsense ads disabled on your site. Perfect, but sometimes can take weeks or months before adsense bans your site.. Really if you find other such nice tips in DP archives, don't hesitate to unbury them, this thread was only 4 years old, but you can find some really good one starting as far back as 2004, keep looking!
When I started I hunted for the magic guide. I did find the guide but turns out thats what everyone else had found and after using it for one year reached a conclusion that adsense is a bust. Then I started reading adsense blogs and tips. Yes the official ones. They worked quite well for me actually. All the way from beginner to advanced tips. More advanced tips included how to find out the heat map of the site to see where user's click. Then integrate the ads as such. You can also be sure that these tips/ideas are vetted to be in line with adsense policies. I increased my earnings well enough to notice that it matters to me. Wish I had done the obvious years ago. Would have added thousands to my bank account -.-
I think that you need a piece of hard work there in order to get some good traffic to your works. So be active on this superb site and post over at least 10 quality answers every day. And your grammar and punctuation also should be in a good level and your answers should be at least 8 to 10 sentences long if you need a good quality score.
