Hi, i opened a thread a couple of weels ago, but many people posted their own stuff in it, plus i decided to summorize all events in one new thread, so here goes: 1. Domain was registered 2-2.5 months ago. 2. All new pages were indexed quickly. 3. I submitted articles to directories and dofollow blogs, then to social bookmarking sites. 4. ranking for the two word phrase domain name gradually improved. Just before septmber i was climbing in the second results page and got to #11. 5. Google web master tools showed I was ranked #11 for the two word phrase, and 3 other rankings for other phrases. 6. On september 11th the site vanished from the SERPS completely. 7. site:domainname still showed all pages as indexed. 8. on September 7th the 4 ranking phrases disappeared from webmaster tools. 9. On Sep 15th pages got on the grid but main phrase dropped to around #180. 10. Today its at around #240 11. I only built 20-30 accordying to SEO spyglass. 12. WEIRD: the sitemap from webmaster tools vanished the day site started ranking again (sitemap still exists of course). 13. No blackhat, no advertising on site (affilate or PPC), no adult content, 100% original content written by me. Could I have been punished for something? Surely i didn't get too many links too fast. Should i try to contact Google and ask them what's going on? It's going to be really unfair if i lose the links I built cause i took time and effort, and i really haven't done anything wrong!
14. Main page down to around #350, one of the internal pages shows up at around #150 for the two word domain name phrase. Crazy crazy stuff
I am sure that your time & hard work has wasted but don't worry, make to relevant back link once again.
I agree with elenabush, if you concentrate on building more quality and high pr links form relevant theme and your keywords will be soon on top.
find out what u did to get penalized, fix the problems, email reconsideration request in google webmasters, and build quality links (ie linkwheel service in dp)
