Surely something for a PM rather than the public whenm they are helping you out? I've found errors in our web site (after many months) that I'm surprised we missed. Mistakes do happen, and once you've read things a few times you know what's coming next and can miss the most obvious errors.

We don't test for Chrome at all. Since over 95% of our customers are using IE and Chrome is less than 0.5% we've never bothered. Don't want to hear from any Chrome fanboys. Not dissing the software, just stating the facts, and frankly don't care.

That's why I also suggested the e3. It's a Xeon. The 3400 series are outdated. A lot of hosting companies are just trying to get rid of the old stock. It is true that i7's are not server-grade hardware, but when is the last time you had a processor fail on a dedicated server? I haven't...ever...and I have been using/selling dedicated servers for 15 years. Not once have I ever had a processor fail...or a motherboard. You're going to get hard drive failures 10 x's over before you come close to having a processor fault.
