As the title says, I need a writer for a travel site. I need hundreds of small articles, each 200-300 words. Here are the specifics: 1. The articles will be city specific. For instance, San Diego Hotels, San Diego Restaurants, etc. This will then be repeated for a hundred or so cities - the list is always growing. 2. I want unique, readable, accurate content. For example, for the hotels, do a little research. Look up the areas of town, see where hotels are concentrated. Sure, people can stay in downtown San Diego, but there's Pacific Beach, La Jolla, etc. What are the benefits of staying in each place? I don't want 100 hours of research, and I don't want a 10,000 word thesis - but maybe check out Frommers or Expedia or wherever and see what they have to say. Then write unique content! 3. I want the content to be SEO friendly. Pop in the appropriate keyword phrase. Experience in writing for search engines is good. 4. Once again, I want the content to be good - both accurate and readable. If someone from San Diego reads the article, I want them to say "Yeah!" not "Huh?" What do you get? 1. I know I'm asking for more than a regurgitated 1000 word article on viagra, so name your price. By that I mean quote me what you want to be paid that will make you happy to do the project. 2. I'm not in a huge hurry. Do a few cities a week, it's no big deal. I'd much rather wait for good content than have someone pump everything out in a few days. 3. I'm building a blog as well, so this could turn in to quite an ongoing project. 4. Hey, you get to be a travel writer (kind of!) Are you hiring multiple writers for this project? I mean, will you assign 10 articles to just one member?
I'm not looking for multiple writers at this point - I'd like to give all the work to one person. So, that'd be something like 500 articles.
As I think about it, it makes more sense to split up this project between a couple of writers. So instead of 500ish articles for one person, it'll be a few hundred articles for a couple of people.
