I need a completely ORIGINAL WordPress blog design for a college scholarship website. The purpose of this website is to deliver information about available college scholarships, application techniques, tips, and commentary. The design must NOT be a derivative of a publicly available blog theme. This design will include a logo, header, footer, and sidebar area. I don't want this to look like a blog - I want it designed magazine style so it looks more like a typical website built on a WordPress back-end. Links will be contained on the left side of the theme in the sidebar area. There will be links to: Scholarship Search Application Tips College Information Online Colleges Free Scholarship Resources Student Loans and Credit Video Tutorials These will be static pages that I will create down the road. I want the person who designs this to create a PHP-based template page that looks exactly like the rest of the wordpress powered website but is not part of the CMS. The overall design of the website should appeal to males and females 17-25 years of age and should be targeted toward the United States only. Originals of any stock photography used on the website needs to be transferred to our possession when the design is complete. I don't need any of the usual blog crap like recent commentators, blogrolls, or anything like that. There does need to be a placement in the sidebar for video. There must also be ad placement areas for 125x125 ads, as well as other common sizes. Don't worry about plugins. I will handle that. PM me with a bid. I need a price and a time-line. Logo design and color themes are important, so look at some of the other nicely designed college scholarships websites that are out there to get a feel for what it will take to compete.
