    $8 is very very low cost.If you are paying $8 per hour also its hard to get a designer under $15.

    I can make a design but 8 dollars is a very low price.. you'd probably be looking at closer to $50 for a simple redesign with a logo

    What designs you will find for that price are going to be pretty bad as well. Go to the design areas and see if anyone is trying to build a portfolio. Sometimes they will give out free designs to bolster their image.
