Hello all i need a usa vps server here are my specifications 1.60-80Gb HDD 2.512-1024 Mb Ram 3.1Gbps Port 4.10 Tb+ BW 5.Linux My buget 25-35$ and cpanel extra 15$ Total Budget - 40$-50$ Thank You baree
Your specs seem fine but I'm pretty sure you're going to have to up your budget for 10+ Tb of bandwidth. Somebody does have to pay for that bandwidth, after all. Is the location particularly important? You're spot on with cPanel being an extra $10-15, the only issue I see here is the bandwidth.
Even the 1Gbps port won't be doable in that budget, unless it is shared among 1000s of other vps users in the same cabinet. You can try looking at BurstNET vps offers.
I would recommend contacting a few hosts for a direct quote. With the budget you are giving yourself, I do not see you finding a host that will be able to offer anything close to your requirements. Remember you get what you pay for...
Got 20TB BW for the same price.....and 1.5GB Ram and 80Gb Hard Disk...... sucess after 2 days of searching...
Thats what im saying. I paid 35 for my 1TB thought I was gonna paint the town red i only used up like 14% in one month time lol. I overshot my load like a mother. but oh well
I don't think it's a matter of overshooting the requirements...mitgib was referring to whether or not the host will actually let him get away with that kind of bandwidth usage. I have been drinking a tiny bit so my figures may not be correct, but guaranteed 20TB of data is around a constant 62mbps, if my figures are correct. There is absolutely no way you can get that kind of bandwidth for $40-50/mo, and that's not even including the "hardware" cost of the VPS itself, or the $10-15 for the cPanel license. We'll go on the low end and call it $10, so $30-40 for 20TB of bandwidth? Not going to happen in this world or any other. Like I said, we'll see the OP again in a couple months, if he actually comes close to using that kind of bandwidth.
I was thinking the same as well cause I just got 1 terabyte of bandwidth and it cost me 35 for that, came with 1gb ram, and a 30gb hardrive. no cpanel. and i shopped around reputable companies that i was refered to by friends , and price vary here and their but thats the common dominator. I dont know whats the numbers boild down to how you figured it out but i just look at it from a consumer point of view and i like to stay with in the market standard meaning if everyone charging 35 for this and on company charging 10 for it, I wont trust that company charging $10 just me.
