Hi all, This is a great forum. Very useful information. I hope to be able to make a valuable contribution over time. I really need some advice. I decided to try and cash in on adsense as many of you have over here. I decidede the best course of action is through blogs. I use blogger.com. The problem I am having is with the relevance of the adsense ads. My blog is based around the keyword, "personal injury lawyers". However, my adsense ads don't appear with that keyword. They usually appear as ads for blogs or blog writing That will dramatically lower my CTR. What am I doing wrong? Any tips on how I can optimise my blog, so that the adsense ads showing will be relevant will be greatly appreciated. I have included the link of my blog so you can see for yourself: http://www.personalinjurylawyerz.blogspot.com/ Thanks again for any suggestions.
though the ads seem okay..the blogger blog name looks too big to me..i think hosting at ure own domain would be much better.. it just sounds too big...
No problem here either. However I would also suggest that you get your own domain. Don't put your business in the hands of strangers... ever
Are you actually going to be able to produce valuable content to this blog on a regular basis? I'm just not really too sure what could possibly said every couple of days on 'Personal Injury Lawyers'... Just a hunch, but I have a feeling you went and looked up what the high paying keywords are, and decided to base a blog on one of those. Remember, blogs are different from typical informative websites...they are meant to be constantly updated with new information that is relevant to the blog's topic. Providing new content on a regular basis is what will keep people coming back to your site, and also help with SEO and drawing traffic in general.
try to use some more keywords that are directed towards your topic. Adsense should pick that up and you will start to get more relevant ads.
