Need a starting point for a script, or looking to hire for php/java

    I am looking for a script referred to as a 'dollmaker script'. Here are examples:

    A simple one:

    A slightly more complicated one (though I don't like that the image buttons are relegated to 80 x 80px):

    An even more complicated one:

    What I am most interested in, is a simple one like the first link. Basically the script needs a 'stage' and the stage needs to be able to save the .gif in it. Images are all the same size so that they layer on top of eachother in the correct space in the form of tabs.

    I know how to write html, but not php or java as well. I'm wondering if anyone can even just point me to a script that I can use as a starting place.

    Also I was curious how much it would cost me to hire someone to code a similar script. Please send me a PM if you are interested. I have a small budget to work from.
