Hello all, I need someone to develop a small application that will work in Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista. I want to be able to use that software to create a list of files and folders of the hard drive or directory and the output should be a text file. The report (txt file) has to have exactly the same format as you get when you use DOS command: For example: C:\dir /s >files.txt I also want to be able to to run this software on the drives that are shared on the network and mapped on my computer. Very important note: The software must be somewhat intelligent, and if it gets to the point where directory structure is corrupt (time out), it should not stop the process and should not freeze the PC. It should simply skip that bad/corrupted directory/file. Also, this application will be processing large amount of data, up to 3-5Tb (not Gb), so it should have a proper memory management, so it doesn't crash with "not enough memory" error. Let me know if anyone can do it, how long would you need (approx), and how much would you want for this task. Thank you! .
