Contest Need a SIMPLE logo for a small press business [$ 50 - $150 PRIZE]

Hello

I need a logo for a company called (see the image) .
I will pay $50 to the winner, even more if I feel the logo quality deserves it.

I reserve the right to pick no winner and I will end the contest when I want.

The logo should be simple (it will be printed with reduced dimensions on the title page of the books and used on the website) and all-in-black (with white background).

The name of the company is inspired to the short story "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allan Poe, so be creative about that.

The figure could be (not necessarily) a cask with a stylized man leaning on it (reading a book? - maybe). Or a cask with a raven upon it. Or a simple cask of amontillado, nothing more. The choice is yours. Again, be creative.

The textual part is not essential. The essential is the drawing part.
Be professional: I don't want some overused clip-art or similar.

A more elaborated version of the logo may be requested to the winner (with a supplementary payment), but it is not requested at the moment.

The winner will give me all the rights (in written form) to use the logo, supplied in the most common formats.

Payment with PayPal or an alternative method, just ask.

Thank you for your efforts, but you're going in the wrong direction. I need more visual effects (the cask, ...), not only text.

Two questions: is it original (or you have the license to use the objects)? is it made with vectors?

About the text, I'd like to see some variation about the fonts you used + its appearance with a space between the two words.

Hello. I like your concept, it is graphically appealing (the only remark could be it is too 'full' of things, perhaps), but I think it is more appropriate for my needs an horizontal order rather than a circular one. You're behind Neonic, at the moment. Thank you.
