Need a Review Please...

My website was put up back in June and I have not used google adwords or outside advertising as yet since I have little money, but I am trying to use good SEO practices.

I started out getting about 10 hits a day and then 20 and now I'm up to 50 average a day.

However, I only get one purchase a week.

    What can I do differently?

Is it ok to put my website url here for a review and some suggestions on what I could do better/differently?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thank you! The site is www.qualitypedalcars.com

I'm wondering what I can do to attract more customer purchases. The 40-50 customers coming to the site a day are looking around, some spending quite a bit of time checking out the products, but at the end of the day, there is no sale.

    What am I doing wrong?

I have been working on getting my site in many free directories and vertical portals and exchanging links with sites related to mine, so I believe that is why the traffic is increasing some on a consistant basis.

    Thanks again for any help.

I would say your site has nice look, I would say. I've seen better but yours is quite fine. Maybe you could find another fading light blue pattern for your buttons , this pattern you use currently seems a bit "rough", if you can understand me.

Also, small car in the top left corner should be same dimensions (larger) as the boys in top right corner to get simetry. Moreover, existing car picture seems

I think many people want to see those vehicles but actually they don't decide to buy 50 years old toy for they children.

It is good that your traffic is increasing. To increase more traffic you might do more link development or use advertising like AdSense.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will see what I could do about the buttons and the car picture. Anyone else have any other suggestions?

It looks good although the first page is a little long, maybe this could be condensed a bit to be more eye catching.

You could join the BBB online and post their seal on your website. That will make people feel better about shopping with you. Also you can join the chamber of commerce and put their seal on your site. I think you can join for free and its a good back link. If you have a privacy policy you can get a trustE logo...and put up that you can shop 24/7/365 some people don't know that, and put up a phone number...that makes people feel like they can contact you if there is a problem. I use my cell phone number because I don't make enough yet for a 1-800 #.

Try article submission to increase traffic. Write an article about pedal cars or something related to your site and put in a source box at the bottom. Using anchor tags put in your web address and a little bit about you and your company. You should be able to get some traffic that way.

You could go to discussion boards or forums about toys and post helpful replies to questions and put you link in the sig.

Sell something on eBay that is not for sale on your website (eBay rules) and put in the a link in the description area about your 'about me' page like free info on antique toys or pedal cars and have a link back to your website from eBay on the about me page.

    I hope this helps...
