I am in need of some kind of tracking number for a buyer dispute on paypal. the buyer didn't provide a shipping address because it was a virtual item. needs to be from anywhere in US
i sold a virtual game account account which i had no way of recovering after they receieved it and now they think they can just try and take it for free. he lives in north carolina, if that would help anything. i need to win this dispute.
I've never had this experience from the seller's perspective, but I can tell you that i've won 2 disputes as the buyer of a digital item. In your dispute, be honest and give paypal as much information as you can about the transactoin...anything that can help prove your case.
thanks for the suggestion. I thought a tracking number would work for sure. I can probably find an email saying from. the buyer that they were satisfied right after the sale. then again I could tell them to close the dispute and then I could help them. still anyone have a tracking number?
Just put the word digital product in the tracking code. Do this and paypal will restore your account.
^^^^^^really?... anyone have reference to this? seems almost too easy, and i don't wanna use that option on nothing.
I put digital product in the tracking number form when Paypal ask question on invoice, supplier and tracking number.
