I need to have this website given a facelift (update the design) and add some functionality. The inventory area needs to be able to sell the item, or at least allow the customer to find what they are looking for. Listed below are most of the requirements for the site. Sundogfirearms.com site upgrade requirements * The inventory screen needs to look like the below, on mouse over row, the row should slightly highlight Image | Make | Model | Caliber | Price | Inquire | Details Example of row highlight - http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/cssHighlightTableRow/index.html * When the details page is chosen, it will need to have some separation between the bold category and the content, similar to http://gunroom.shootingsportsman.com/listing/323 , also a border should be put around the details area. * Footer needs to be added to the site. * Dynamic meta tags need to be added to details pages * A link on the top of each "product page" for inventory of that product * Menu items need to look more like buttons, right now they just sorta look like text, and some users might not click on them, same with the menu on the top of the product pages. * Merkel product page needs to have the menu structure changed, would like categories, and sub-categories * Landing page needs to be updated/enhanced. A new feature will be a "featured" item of the month. When clicking on this item, it will take you to a new page, that has pictures, specifications, and a write up of this item. * Website theme.my client really likes shootingsportsman.com. Don't want a replica, but if you have ideas, on modifying the theme, or totally redoing it, that's great. * The overall functionality of the website needs to be improved as much as possible. Users need to be able to get to the "inventory"Â page easily, and find what they are looking for. * Inquiry should also include the item # of the item in the email when sending an inquiry There is already a backend in place for adding items to the inventory. I believe the backend is using smarty. I would like to leave the current backend in place, but since its it only manages the inventory database, it would be easy to implement another backend.
