I need a quote for this do be done...

I play frequently in Fantasy Sports. I mainly play in fantasy basketball. I need to have a program developed for gathering statistical information. This will save me ours a night studying.

I will try to explain the best I can…

In fantasy basketball we need to select 9 players.

    4 guards
    4 forwards
    1 center

I will need to have these statistics updated on a daily basis. I will give you the link to the site I gather my info from.

    Here is an example: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/gamelog?playerId=261

This is Kevin Garnet’s complete yearly statistics.

I need to gather these stats, and give them a point value…

Points: (PTS) Each point receives +1 point
Rebounds: (TOT) Each Rebound receives +1 point
Assists: (AST) Each assist receives +1 point
Steals: (STL) Each steal receives +2 points
Blocks: (BLK) ( Each block receives +2 points
Turn Overs: (TO) Each to receives -1 point

So in the example I give you http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/gamelog?playerId=261
On 1/30 @ Det Kevin Garnett would receive 38 POINTS

I would like to do this for every play in the NBA.

I need them to be updated daily, and gather stats of that day’s schedule
    http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/scoreboard

This is what I need for each player

Taking stats from the last game they have played, and going back to the first game they played.

    Last Game Stats:
    Last 2 Game Stats:
    Last 5 Game Stats:
    Last 10 Game Stats:

If at all possible, I would like each player to be listed from highest total points to the lowest total points. I would also like the list to be listed by position.

    Point Guard: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/stati...=pg&qual=true&season=2009&seasontype=2&pos=pg

    Shooting Guard:
    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/stati...=pg&qual=true&season=2009&seasontype=2&pos=sg

    Small Forward:
    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/stati...=pg&qual=true&season=2009&seasontype=2&pos=sg

    Power Forward:
    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/stati...=pg&qual=true&season=2009&seasontype=2&pos=pf

    Center:
    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/stati...g=pg&qual=true&season=2009&seasontype=2&pos=c

I’m sure you will need more information from me. I hope you get the basics of what I’m trying to do here?

I was told that Perl Program would be best to create this?
