Hi there i pretty much know everything about MYSQL etc but a friend of mine needs help moving a MSSQL database and i dont know nothing on how to do it so i am looking for a professional who knows what he is doing to help move it from one Host to another ! you can PM me your msn or yahoo id so we can talk in detail !
It's pretty easy. Have him go into PHPADMIN on the existing host find the database .. then export all the tables. Next after he has created the new database go in the PHPADMIN on the new host and import the table file. That's it
He is talking about MS SQL as in Microsoft SQL. For that Enterprise Manager seems a better fit than PHPmyAdmin. Normally for this just enter the Enterprise Manager, do a backup at the old server and a restore at the other server.
Oops.. I read the post to fast You're correct wisdomtool. To add to his comment, if you do a search on Google on "backup and restore mssql" there are many step by step listings.
Thing is i asked i think 2 people already and they were not able to do it and sorry to the guys to which i haven't replied to have been away will reply to you soon too !
