I don't ask for a cloning, as everyone knows cloning a website is unethical, and can lead to serious liabilities depending on its context and usage. But, if you can "strip" the idea(the site) and remodel, I won't mind. That's why we talk for an exception here "a mirrored site"! Its more modern word.
