Don't submit to lots of those sites. You'll just look like someone who doesn't know what the heck they're doing, and frankly that's not how you'll get any legitimate coverage. It's not even worth it for the links (which isn't why you should be using them in the first place... the best links always come from using them the right way, with real news and from serious coverage and its natural trickle down effect). Mass submitting to a bunch of crappy free press release distribution sites gets you two primary types of links: 1. Links on the distribution sites (worthless, because after anywhere from a few minutes to a few days, you're just archived on a PR0 page anyway... and most don't post your own link on the homepage, so it doesn't mean much to begin with). 2. Links on scraper sites that are also worthless, and on blogs with no real value to pass along (the unknown, unranked type). If you want free distribution... do it the right way. Use no more than a handful of those sites in the process (really, one is more than enough). For example, if you want to be sure to get into Google news, use www.PR.com.
