Need a portable bash ( unix ) shell script program

    I need a portable bash shell script (program) which accepts as argument a person's birthday in the form yyyymmdd and prints out the following:

    The persons age, in years and full months
    The Chinese animal sign according to the year of birth
    The day of the week in which the person was born
    The number of days the user has seen in the 21st century
    Their fortune (use the Unix/Linux fortune cookie game program with the -s option for this)
