Need a PNG to GIF batch converter

    Anyone know about some free/open source package which will convert PNG files with transparent backgrounds to GIF files with transparent backgrounds? I tried IrfanView, it doesn't work with PNGs and transparent backgrounds.

    Download a trial version of Fireworks (lasts 30 days) and run a batch export. Set the export filetype to .gif and make sure alpha or index transparency is selected.

    You can try irfan view which is free and batch option is also there ....

    hope you will like it.
