Need a Plugin that would charge people to post articles (PayPal)

    Hello all,

Is there any plugin that would allow me to setup a payment system on my wordpress site, where people can signup to become "authors", but then they would have to pay a set price (say $3) to publish 1 article, and ideally it would allow me to setup Payment Plans (recurring memberships) say 19.99 to post 10 artices per month, 29.99 to post 100 and 39.99 to post unlimited articles.

EasyPaypal is the closest thing I found but it hasn't been updated since 2008 and it's got a few bugs. I need something stable and that has many features. I don't mind paying a good price for it.

    Thanks in advance!

Why don't you set up a membership site? There are tons of WP plugins for that just Google them up.

Why don't link button buy from paypal to "New Post" page and grant limited account to anonymous?
Anyway, why would anyone write article on your site?

It's quite an interesting question and I will tell you what I am doing.

My method is a little simpler.

I use gravityforms.com plugin which is not free, but not very expensive either, but allows me to set up a form with zero knowledge of programming, it's basically a drag and drop form creation process, it's pretty awesome.

I then configure the form so that it creates a post in draft, which saves a lot of time adding it manually. But the trick is when the user submits, they are redirected to paypal and have to pay a small fee to post their item.

Hopefully this will give you an extra option.

I've been using wishlistmember for a while now. So far my favorite membership site plugin. The support is pretty good too -- which makes the paid plugin model worthwhile. And believe me I am super frugal :).
