PlentyOfFish is a custom solution, which Markus Frind built to learn ASP.NET. It has matured over time, so to ask for a clone that is fast and bug free is no small effort. The template is not an issue. I am building a social community platform too and have well over 1,000 hours invested in the project. This does not include developing all of the unit tests and bug resolution. Good luck.
