I need someone who can sort through my code and fix all the bugs on the site. There is a few particular errors I am mostly concerned about. This is a rental listing website. PM me for the domain

    1. When I transferred servers a mysql error showed up where my ads should have.

    2. A banner spot was deleted from the site that needs to be added back. Home page only (I will explain further)

    3. This is the big one. When someone lists their home on my site, they can add images of that home. These images will randomly show up on the wrong listings. Over hundreds of listings you can understand my frustration when I see that only about half of the images belong to the house in the listing. (example: I created five listings with my hosting companies logo for the images to see if they might show up anywhere else on the website. I later found the logo on random listings.)

    4. there are many other small bugs on the site that need to be fixed as well.
I hired someone to do this for $25 and here is his response:
"I haven't found a solution to your problem rooted in the php code, but there are plenty of other bugs in it. The manner in which the entire site has been designed from a programming perspective is quite messy to say the least.

It has become more involved and time consuming than anticipated to solve the problem and I wont be able to continue. I suggest getting the original programmer to fix the many issues that are not only present in /www/error_log, but also the case at hand.

The truth is, the code is so haphazardly structured and poorly designed that I'm reluctant to wade around in it trying to fix all the bugs it has. Sorry, i guess you're only other shot would be to hand it over to a good freelance PHP developer.

    Hope you find a solution."

If you can go through and fix the bugs I will pay $50. I The guy who wrote the email above will be auditing your work to make sure everything is done correctly so please do not accept this job unless you think you can fix the issue.

So the guy that couldn't be bothered doing it for 25$ will audit my work instead????

The guy that said the code was so buggy he couldn't wade around in it is instead going to check that someone else wades around in it?!

Any programmer worth is salt will just find that insulting.

    :D
