need a php.ini file?

OK, so this is way beyond my understanding.

Baically, I am hosted with dreamhost, and some of the features of my script are not working because the host has said they don't allow them. They said that I can write something like a php.ini file, but that it's at my own risk.

I am wondering if there is anyone on the good ole dp forums that knows stuff :D

Please let me know if u have had experience with this,
    Cindy

You can add a php.ini file to the ftp sometimes if the host allows it

I personally don't like dreamhost because of that crap
