    Hello all.
I am currently in a shared hosting using a CDN, but now my site keeps growing and I need to move to a VPS or better.
so I need some help in which company to choose and what specs/plan is better, so here are some quick stats:
    • Daily Visits: 12.000 - 20.000
    • Daily Pageviews: 30.000 - 50.000
    • 96% of the traffic is from japan

So, what whats best for me? What hosting will accept me? What about DMCA, need one whom will reject or w/e.

several questions should be answered first.
    what is your budget?
do u need control panel like cpanel?
do u need server mgt service?

As 96% of the traffic is from japan, you'd better consider a Japan VPS.
Check VPS.net and grab a node.

YOUR INBOX. - If you already got 20K the why not direct to the Dedicated Server - 30K will be soon in your door bell. :) Good Luck.

Actually, 30K can be handled with a value VPS easily if correctly configured.
But for long terms, going to a dedicated is necessary, it costs more.

VPS will be affordable right now but won't be able to digest the traffic that is growing day be day. For a long run, dedicated will be the right choice for you. Also, does location matter you or a good Customer Service ?

    Something around $100, preferably less.
Yeah I need cPanel, and no mgt.

VPS.net? Will they really accept this kind of sites? Don't think so.

    Replied.

    Both matters.

With that budget, you can get a very powerful VPS. With cPanel costing $15 or less for a VPS license, you're talking about $85 or more actually left over for the VPS. That's a very good budget.

As far as location, you will generally want something in Japan. Los Angeles provides good speeds to Asia as well, but if you can find a VPS in Japan, you're going to be better off in the long-run. The only problem with Asia is that bandwidth costs and general server costs are generally much more expensive. That's why a lot of Asian websites end up being hosted in Los Angeles.

Hi, thanks for the recommendation but I rather prefer buying from a well-know and trusted company.

I really don't mind the location, as long as my site is safe.

As per my experience, if you say location doesn't matter you, Breezehost.net can offer you a good customer service, within your budget...in my opinion.

The limiting factor is going to be that you are looking for a host that ignores DMCA, which I didn't see before making my last post. That obviously eliminates the US. A lot of Canadian providers ignore DMCA requests, and offer similar prices to the US. Otherwise, you should lookup some offshore hosts, and see if they can meet your needs.

Like I said, your budget should be just fine for a high-quality VPS from just about any reputable provider.

Is there any point that speaks about another European country like Germany in means of your safety, as long as you are not planning any illegal activities there should not be a problem with the safety of your data, no matter where you host.

Since you require unmanaged solution, try out fdcservers, they are cheap and have excellent facilities, especially in Europe.
Also, using a CDN will be advisable because most of the datacenters are in or around EU or US and your visitors are from Japan.

If you need fully managed VPS within budget, We would be glad to help you!
