I think ive found hosting, I know how to set it all up, im pretty sure I know how to get traffic. But one thing im TERRIBLE at is names. My old proxy was www.iphider.net but that got blocked at school within 2 days. I want something that people will be able to remember. Oh, and it cant contain any words like "proxy", "proxie", "ip" or "filter" ect... Thanks a lot
Actually .info's are just as expansive as .com's now And I was thinking of just doing something like that, like h4u.com or something
You're kidding, right? You can get a .info for 0.99 cents at godaddy using a coupon, while a .com will set you back $7. h4u will cost you a pretty penny, by the way shadysurftime.info ?
I prefer info name with 2, 3 or 4 letters but it's already taken. Mostly all good name is already taken. But honestly "Whitey" do think someone will tell the "right" proxy name for you? Why don't try the domain forum, here at digitalpoint? Maybe someone is trying to sell the right name for you.

If anyone is interested, I have a script that makes you a site acting like proxy directory. It lists proxie sites automatically for you. PM me for more info.
How 'bout "PR7"??? ... "PR5"??? ... Hell "A9" may even work. If it rolls off the tongue, it sounds kind of cool, it's good to go.
call it anything , itll get banned within a month by the various schools etc when they see it in their logs ! But best of luck!
Any name will do. All you need to do with a proxy is submit it to top sites (there is sites even with auto submitters to like 100 top sites) and do abit of word and mouth in your school, and bam your traffic shoots up
