The space, about 30-60 gb... but I need enough bandwidth to support approx. 20/gb per day of use. Let me know. Offshore would be nice, but as long as you can handle the bandwidth, that is most important. PM me if you wish or email -- I will get it... it's for spam protection.
20GB bandwidth is a lot per day. That's roughly 600GB per month. Most of those hosts offering "unlimited" disk space or bandwidth will have restrictions still. Some will suspend you for using a lot of bandwidth. I suggest you get a VPS so you don't run into problems.
Ya, I am considering getting a VPS I wish I could change my name away from unmeteredhosting.us -- I gave up on hosting unmetered sites a LONG time ago. Side note... anyone know who I can contact to change it here?
(I think you can contact a mod or admin for a name change? Could've sworn I read about it somewhere) As for your hosting situation. You'll definitely need a VPS or dedicated for 600 gigs a month. I'd say there are some shared providers out there that would offer it (or unlimited) but I'd bet they would be unreliable in the end. You may want to check out an unmetered VPS as well. A 5 or 10 mbps connection would be more than enough to handle 600 gigs per month. But, even if you don't go unmetered, you should be expecting to pay 50 to 100 USD per month for it (more if you want a managed solution). Linode has a nice looking VPS plan that would suit your needs for $60/month. Check out the VPS hosting offers[/ulr] at webhosting talk. There's lots of good deals there.
20x30=600 It's absolutely not too much for a shared account... We host sites that use more than 1TB bw/mo on shared server without problems...
Maybe you should check this place out. They have unmetered bandwidth and space. I have a friend who has a huge gaming forum and his site does not lag. you get 1-3 free domains depending on your plan and 1-15 dedicated ips depending on your plan. Plus- it's so cheap. https://www.ixwebhosting.com/templates/ix/v2/affiliate/clickthru.cgi?id=sdfta
