Basically, (1) I want users to be able to press a button on any random post/product page/etc., this button will inturn give a random set of numbers/letters. These letters will be put into a database ie; reward system style, to see if those random set of numbers/letters work are usuable, ie; winning numbers/letters, winning code - the whole thing IS basically a rewards system. Is there any solution out there for what I'm mentioning here? Also (2) would an e-commerce type of site be the best option for this I'm trying to do??...help anyone..please, and its greatly appreciate in return

Presumably a submit button which logs the users name or ID and a hidden value which generates a random number. Both can then be inserted into a database.

You could generate the code server side to stop people accessing the hidden fields themselves. Maybe if you could give a few more details we could help more?

appreciate both of your replies.... @ Viggenmort, going off of what I said, can you explain what you mean a little more..possibly?? your replies coupled with what @ doconline suggested, are seeming exactly like what I'm trying to get to.. @ doc, I'd be more than willing to give a few more details, just what should I give?...I'm kind of new to this php thing, I have alot of time spent on HTML board (blogger, etc.), but this PHP is a real doozy, if you know what I mean...I guess for newbies anyway though, huh? ;-)
