Here is a list of 2800 free directories. The list is extremely up-to-date. I am starting at the top and going through the list by hand. I am almost done the PR3-PR9 directories and am through most of the PR2s. I have indicated all the free directories that are not actively adding free submissions. Sorry but there are dropped domains in the list.
Does listing in a high PR value directory really add value where the location where you are listed has no PR value or 0 value. I always assumed that if the page where you had listed had no real PR value, it didn't give you much even if the home page of the directory had a high PR value.
