Need a hosting plan that can provide 30GB disk space - 600GB/month transfer

Hello all,

I was doing fine with bluehost for about 7-8 months, but then suddenly they figured out (!) that I'm against their TOS (cause I'm running a podcast directory) and told me that they can't host my files anymore. I think they're out of resources and ditching some customers to decrease load.

Whatever. I need a new company. Here are my needs:

- 30GB disk space (maximum)
- 600GB /month transfer (maximum)
- There will be lots of .mp3 files (all legal), and only a few php scripts. So, the hosting company shouldn't complain about hotlinking or "having no website". This is Podcast. No websites needed.

And of course, the price must be as cheap as possible. I don't care if it's a shared hosting cause I won't be using CPU or RAM. Only file transfers.

Any suggesstions?

You should have the mod move this thread to the web hosting section as you will get more response there. just use the report button and ask them to move it.

 

I tought that, but I think it's against the rules. only hosting offers are allowed there. I may be wrong tough.

 

Hosting offers and wtb threads are allowed there so if you are looking for hosting to buy (not just suggestions or reviews) then yes you can post there.

johndoes, you should go for VPS. Though a lot of hosts say that they provide unlimited space but they restricts any kind of file hosting. As you said that your site will not consume high CPU or RAM but it is still advisable that you go for a VPS rather than a shared host.
