I am with them and have never had a problem. Whenever i need to submit a support ticket it is answered within the hour, usually 10 minutes or so.
I have go daddy and 1 and 1`. 1and1 is good but my main complaint is that they have a 100mb limit on database.. godaddy i lied at first. but its starting to catch up on me.. limiting connectns ect.
I like these guys. No complaints. http://1and1.com Good customer support, good control panel, lots of freebies w/ signup. Disclosure: I'm an affiliate.
I'd also recommend Hostgator. Cheap, Any problems, Great parametrs, Didnt noticed downtime on my sites so far Great live support What to want more
there is a thanksgiving 999 madness sale at AN Hosting. only till the 22nd of nov, you can get 999 Gigabytes disk space, 9,999 Gigabytes bandwidth, host up to 999 domains in 1 acount, free domain name for life, unlimited subdomains, unlimited MySQL Databases, 2000 FTP accounts, adwords/yahoo/msn marketing credits and much more, all for only $4.95 pm. see here for more details: www.finemine.com/webhosting/package.php
Just out of curiosity how is that possible? It costs a registrar $3/yr in ICANN fees alone... Just wondering if I should be buying my domains there instead of wholesaling through Tucows...
I think that would only be worth it if you buy a different hosting package for each domain name. They give your 1 completely free domain name of your choice with each hosting package. However, if you are looking for a cheap domain name registrar, go to http://www.netfirms.com . domain name registration is $5.95/yr, with whois info protection and full control of DNS nameserver settings.
Netfirms is good but its $5.95 is a starting price its $10 after the first year. 1 and 1 is $7 with privacy.
