Need a free tool to get exact Keyword Competition

I am looking for a Free tool which gives exact Keyword Competition data.

I am using Adwords Keyword Tool, which shows competition in range from 0 to 1, I think thats not correct for SEO point of view, It shows how many bidders are competing for that keyword. Its useless in case of SEO, I need a tool which shows exact number of competitors which are targeting same keywords at a one time.

 

Market Samurai returns the exact phrase match, which is good for competition, thats what I go by

 

You can do it by adding quotes "keyword" to the search terms when using Google, but competition numbers is not a good way to judge your competition.

 

Try Traffic Travis software tool.

 

Try Word Tracker, Keyword discovery too. But ya don't jump in a conclusion google tool is useless. Probably you didn't do your research well on it. You will find it useful over a period of time. Yahoo's Overture tool was very handy earlier. But unfortunately yahoo discontinued it long back

 

I have tried the free Trellian keyword tool and it give good results.

 

I use Market Samurai, maybe you will find it useful as well
