Need a Forum Expert to Help Increase Profits

I am in need of someone to assist me in a way to increase my earning at this site http://celebutopia.net and http://uploadem.com.

I get on average 70K impressions per day and I have broken the 10.00 mark ONCE! From reading all I have read that is an insanely low amount of money for the traffic that I receive. Any help and or suggestions is HIGHLY appreciated. PLEASE. Also, How do I place the ads in a forum like DP has under each post?

Get rid of that gigantic banner, stuff like that can piss people off, maybe not long time members but someone coming through like me just now can get annoyed. I think big images like that might hurt your click through ratio too. People are too distracted by that big image to see the ads.

I totally believe what you say, its very cool looking, but you gotta trust me on this one. Stuff like that is not good for your click through ratio.

Replace it with something smaller that is animated yet doesent loop. It would be so much better.

on your free image hosting site it might help if you change the color of the title text on your ads, every thing is black so some users might not even know those are links.

    I put mine here:

As you can see to get back to the forum index you have to click the highlighted links. Thus more attention is focused in this aera. Also, some silly people might accidently click the ads.
    Everyones a winner.

Did you see the one that I have there above the nav bar? it is an inline text ad that looks like it is the navigation. As for changing the color of the ads on the imagehosting site, I should try that. I was just told to blend it in tha tis why I did that,

that really is a cool banner, very flashy and sexy, its just overwhelming

-switch the google pack with some content ads, 99% of my clicks come from top ads under the navigation bar, this is your #1 biggest problem, I can totally see why you arent getting more clicks from this

you gotta have those content ads at eyelevel by the navigation bar for people to click when they are ready to navigate, having content ads right up against navigation gets you accidental clicks from time to time too(shhhh)

-Get rid of the annoucements at the top, again very distracting, people dont need that stuff dominating the page

-get rid of the ads in the posts, having the content ads under navigation is enough per page, you will get a high ctr for a forum that way, if you have them in posts people blow past them because they are in the middle of reading

-put a link to the forum on the main navigation bar, its hard to find the forums when you land on the portal page because of that huge banner and the announcements, it took me too long to find out how to get into the forums, wayy too long

-change it from "portal" to "home" its more universal, much more

Look, overall I love your forum, its a great design, great concept and I can see why its been so successful, people love celebrities. The issue here is improving your navigation and click through ratio. Do that and things will be almost perfect.

Once again I really love your forum, thumbs up!

Looks good to me, you might wanna change colors every now and then, I don't do it but I heard it increases CTR. Too much of a pain for me though.

Ok I have removed the ads from the forumdisplay. But I think that I get a lot of clicks from the ones that are in the posts itself because there are many parts of the forum that you cannot see as a guest. As for the image hosting site, what color should I make the ads? I have implemented some of your ideas for the image hosting site uploadem.com as well. Can you tell me what you think now?

    the image site looks great

You can leave the ads in the posts, experiment with them, if your CTR% is higher with them then keep em if not then get rid of them. USE ADSENSE CHANNELS!

they will help you alot at this point, every ad placement should have a seperate channel

i find the forum for the celb site very.. fussy and cluttered.

For somebody trying to find information it may be a major put off.

Most people that go to that site know what they are there for and where the sections are.
